I see there are some differing views about the odors emanating from the FMC plant in Front Royal. Although I would not advocate action that would jeopardize the company’s ability to continue operations it does seem to me that the company does have a responsibility to be a good neighbor.
Nearly two years ago my wife wrote the E.P.A. about these odors following a shopping tour in Front Royal on one of those days when the smoke was hanging heavy over town. Unfortunately they have never even acknowledged the letter.
