Pat visited the Workshop for the Blind at Worli and a family planning project and Phil visited the CIDCO twin-city site while in Bombay.
Phil began his stint as Breakfast Show host in May, 1962, and Pat from February, 1964. Both work independently and give separate shows. Phil says he likes to tell a joke or two in between songs and music while Pat says she has no flair for story-telling.
Phil said jokes about sex and hijacking were out and “corny” as they were considered to be in bad taste. Some of the assignments Phil has covered for the Breakfast Show are downright “corny.”
