Dearing

Mrs. Mary Magdalene Roberts Dearing of Washington, Va. died March 8, 1973 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal. She was the wife of Clarence E. Dearing, a native of Rappahannock and the daughter of the late Virginia Katherine Roberts.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by an adopted daughter, Mrs. Lillie Roberts Worrell of Bronx, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Maria Starks and Mrs. Amanda Fletcher, both of Washington, Va.; four grandchildren and five great - grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Tuesday at the First Baptist Church, Washington, Va. conducted by the Rev. R. P. Pringle. Interment was in Shiloh Baptist Cemetery, Woodville. % Pallbearers were Brevious Roberts, Kedric Roberts, Hampton Fletcher, Emmett Starks, Lewis Butler Sr., Edward Bailey Jr. Theodus Barbour and John M. Barbour Jr. □
