DISTRICT captains for the spring county clean-up scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday, April 14 in Rappahannock have been announced by campaign chairman Kermit Weakley. These captains will coordinate the clean-up in each district with the aid of volunteers who will, it . ; is hoped, provide manpower, trucks and moral support.
Captains are: Hampton District, Edward M. Clark, phone 675-3608; volunteers will meet at Washington fire house. Wakefield District, C. Keeton Barnes, Flint Hill, 364-1169; workers will assemble at Flint Hill fire house. Also in Wakefield at Chester Gap, Hubert Gilkey, Jr. will coordinate activities from Chester Gap fire house.
