“It has come to our attention that some eligible Virginia veterans may not be aware of this benefit, despite the publicity the 1972 General Assembly bill received last year. Veterans organizations have also publicized provisions of the measure for veterans,” Hill pointed out.
Under the terms of the legislation, no annual registration fee is required for any one motor vehicle owned and used personally by any veteran who has lost the use of one or both legs, or an arm or a hand, or who is blind.
