Sports RCHS: Rappahannock had its first baseball game Tuesday with Montevideo. The crowd was totally enthused over the outcome. Our Panthers won 9-5. Since the Maroons were supposed to be such a tough team, I think we can expect much more of the same from the RCHS TEAM. I heard someone say after the game, “It’s a new ball game,” and it is!!
Spring sports are really running strong this season (forget the pun). The boys track team met with Page and Luray last Wednesday on the Page County track. We captured several first, second and third places and came home with second place in the meet.
