A minor collision occurred Sunday night on Route 211 just west of Amissville. Fred Douglas Johnson of Amissville operating a 68 Mercury ran out of gas and attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway to get off the highway. He was struck by Charles Edward Jenkins of Sperryville in a 64 Chevrolet pickup, according to Trooper G. F. Gregory.
