CHAIRMAN KERMIT WEAKLEY and district captains for the county-wide clean up scheduled for this Saturday are requesting residents and landowners to join in the effort and by combining forces execute a clean sweep of trash and debris which constantly litters the county. A second urgent plea is that everyone keep the county and countryside clean. The clean up drive begins at 9 a.m. or before Saturday morning. Trash bags may be gotten from the district captains or from Rappahannock County Library in Washington where an information headquarters will also be in operation. Those helping with the event are reminded to wear gloves and be cautious of traffic. An alternate date in the event of bad weather is the following day, Sunday, April 15.
