THE PROBLEM of the biting dog came up during the Board’s discussion of two claims for stock killed by dogs.

E. C. Jenkins, who was in the audience, asked Dog Warden Jack Bruce what he intended to do about the dog that bit him.

“He bit me in the public road,’’ Jenkins said. “What is Bruce’s policy on catching the dog? Is he going to impound it?”

“He has bitten other people. He’s bad for the community,” Jenkins said.

There was some question as to whether the dog, which apparently is owned by a man near Flint Hill, is a resident of the county. It was reported that he wears a tag from another county.
