Audience delighted
RAPPAHANNOCK TICKET holders in the Culpeper Community Concert Series were rewarded Monday evening with an outstanding musical evening when
they heard the DeCormier Singers at Culpeper County High School Auditorium. The well-disciplined and highly professional group delighted an audience of more than 1,000 with a fast moving, varied program of lovely sound and graceful movement.
Under the able direction of Robert DeCormier each artist performed with singular excellence and then blended in a rousing or muted chorus.
The second encore of the Negro spiritual "A-AAmen” led by tenor Arthur Williams found the audience joining in the singing with gusto, an enjoyable finish to a rare musical treat —Ruth Key$er
