survived by five sons, Sherman, John C., Ernest Lee, Roger Lee and Furman D. Thompson; four daughters, Miss Elizabeth Thompson, Mrs. Gerald L. Williams, Mrs. Lestine Smith and Mrs. Clara Rankin; 20 grandchildren and 11 great - grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Janie Haney. □
Mrs. Moseley
Mrs. Katherine Wright Moseley of Rixeyville died Sunday, April 8, in a Charlottesville hospital. She was 69, wife of Albert Graham Mosely Jr. and a noted writer. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Judson Wright and Ophelia Jullins, both natives of Mississippi.
She was born in Texas, attended public schools in Biloxi, Miss, and Mississippi Women’s College at Hattiesburg. She taught in public schools in Biloxi and in a kindergarten for the handicapped in Arlington. The Moseleys lived in Rappahannock County for several years before moving to Rixeyville.
