THE RCHS Lady Panthers topped the Generalette£ of Stonewall Jackson High in a track meet Tuesday at Mt. Jackson. The local team participated in 12 events and took,seven firsts, five seconds and six thirds.
Results by events: long jump, Katie Pendleton second and Maureen Day third; High jump, Maureen Day, first; Shot put. Nannette Butler and Margaret Jett, second and third, respectively.
Lisa' Day was first in the discus and Carolyn Dodson was third; in Hurdles, Maureen Day was also first with Sharon Foster placing second. Mary Hudson was first in the 100 yard dash and Susan Taylor placed third in the 880 yard run. A team of four, Faye Dunn, Sharon Foster, Mary Hudson and Katie Pendleton took the 440 relay.
Kathy Dwyer was second in the 440 yard dash and in the 50 yard dash Katie Pendleton was first with Nannette Butler third. Katie Pendleton won the 220
