An art contest has been held at the local elementary school in conjunction with the second annual county-wide roadside clean up which is set for this Saturday, April 14. Winners in the contest in the various grades include: left to right, Tammy f* Atkins, 1st and behind her, Ray Stirman, 2nd in grade 4; Wayne Karney and Lee Anderson, 1st and 2nd respectively in grade 3; J.B. Carter and Cynthia Weaver, grade 2, 1st and 2nd; and Connie Burke, 1st and Carolyn Grigsby, 2nd in grade 1. These youngsters produced exceptionally good posters and participation was extensive.
