Car hits wall
Elmer Kenneth Fletcher of Front Royal skidded on wet pavement and struck a rock wall on Route 606 a half mile south of Flint Hill after leaving a dance at Flat Wood Inn Sunday morning about 3 a.m.
He was driving a '66 Chevrolet convertible, to which damage was estimated at $600 by investigating officer W. A. Buntin. Fletcher was cited for reckless driving.
Two passengers in the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were taken to Warren Memorial Hospital Front Royal where they were treated and released.
They were Gertrude Ford of White Post who received a laceration of the leg, and Aparna Jackson of Front Royal who had a lacerated lip. □
