bond authorities created by the state for various projects such as tunnels, bridges, and college dormitories. The state would have no obligation to back any bonds for the race track facility. The pari-mutuel bill has been defeated and revisions to the Blue Law are still being debated on the House floor. The several different versions of no-fault insurance have not passed the committee and will probably be taken up in the 1975 session.
This is my final report on the 1974 session of the General Assembly.□
Art sale
THE Rappahannock Mental Health Association will sponsor a show and sale of Mrs. Emmy Allen’s drawings, watercolors and paintings.
The sljow will be open Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday March 24, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Flint Hill Fire Hall. Half of the proceeds from all sales will benefit the Mental Health Association.
Many of the works were done during Mrs. Allen’s trips abroad. All are signed “Emmy- Stone,” Mrs. Allien’s painting name, and dated. Some are matted and some are framed. Additional wooden frames will be on sale.D
