Michael J. Nixon, 30, of Route 2, Orange, was fined $150 in a trial held March 7, before Federal Magistrate I. Randolph Dovel in Luray.

Nixon pled guilty to two counts of destroying Government property. He was apprehended by Park Rangers in Shenandoah National Park on February 24. He had cut his way through two locked gates in order to drive his vehicle on administrative roads within the Park.L
