BOB ANDERSON, from Rappahannock’s reassessment board, told the Supervisors that 1,500 parcels of land have yet to be assessed. He asked for permission to hire an assistant for assessor Mort Bacon. “This would cost $2,200 but it is within the original budget set for us,” Anderson said. The Supervisors agreed. Anderson said that Bill Ingram, currently in Page County, would be the new assistant.
