TURKEY DINNER
A turkey dinner with all the trimmings will be served Saturday, October 19, from 5-7 p.m. at Flint Hill fire hall. This will be for the benefit of the United Methodist Church Woman’s Society. Prices will be $3.50 adults and $1.50 for children under 10. Persons wishing take out dinners will please bring own dishes.□
PASTOR’S ANNIVERSARY
The Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperry ville will be observing their pastor’s 11th anniversary on Sunday, October 13 at 3 p. m. The Rev. Wesley Warren of Washington, D. C. will be the speaker for this ocasion. All are invited to attend the program which is sponsored by the Pastor’s Aid Club and Church.

Kenneth Robinson the organization’s “Watchdog of the Treasury” award in honor of the Congressman’s “83.3 percent economy voting record” for the Ninety-Third Congress, 1973-1974.
