PEOPLE getting monthly social security payments should notify the Social Security Administration now if they plan to move soon, according to Mrs. Hazel F. Crumpton, social security district manager in Winchester. “Prompt notice will help assure delivery of your social security check to your new address without delay or interruption.” A move can be reported on the change-of-address form printd on the back of the envelopes in which social security checks are delivered. “Or you can call, write, or visit any social security office.” Mrs. Crumpton said.
“THE REPORT should include both your old and new address — including ZIP codes —as well as the social security claim number that appears on your socialsecurity checks,” she said.
