A rear end collision occured Sunday at 5:15 p.m. on Route 211 a mile and a half west of Washington. A 1969 Chevrolet operated by Stanley Kwiatkowski of Baileys Crossroads was eastbound when he was struck from behind by a 1969 Dodge driven by Randolph Starks of Woodville, according to Trooper J.A. Watson.
The officer charged Starks for following too closely.
In Amissville at the intersection of Routes 211 and 642 two women were involved in a collision about 1 a.m. Terry Ellen Halle of Amissville driving a 62 Ford station wagon owned by her mother, Mary Ellen Halle, struck another vehicle ‘ in the rear. Driver of the vehicle, a 69 Chevrolet truck owned by Silas Grigsby, was Alice Susan Grigsby of Castleton.
Trooper R.A. Baines investigated the collision and stated that the Grigsby truck was making a left r turn when struck by the station \ wagon. Miss Halle was cited for li reckless driving. □ f* $ £ J * ti
