Washington Fire Department and Rescue Squad will build a new fire house. Excavation was done Saturday by Jimmy Atkins on the backhoe, while Edward Clark checks the elevation. Volunteer help in work, finances or moral support will be appreciated. The building will house equipment and provide a meeting room, assembly hall, storage and kitchen facilities.
