Prior to the beginning of the Skyline District Cross Country meet Saturday a declaration was made that the winning runner would be tossed into the pond on the Pryde’s Blue Rock farm. Unfortunately, or perhaps, fortunately, Jerry Thomas was the victor and received the treatment. Ronnie Nicholson in second place, however, had not anticipated the same treatment, but got the business. It did not end there. Finally all of the RCHS harriers got dunked and then to finalize the spree, Coach John Toth, right, was dipped.
