Operators of the new motorized bicycle are advised against making mechanical adjustments that would increase its speed. The law passed by the 1975 General Assembly classifies as a bicycle any motorized bicycle with a helper motor rated less than one brake horsepower and with maximum speed of 20 miles per hour, according to John T.
