Last Friday was a work day for the teachers, so RCHS students enjoyed an extra long weekend. They’re always nice to have. Teacher’s work days sure can be lots of fun! Who said teachers never do anything nice for students (!)?
It’s been reported by a confidential source, of course, that Mr. Wingfield was seen surrounded by a swarm of young ladies in his office last Tuesday . . . Well almost. Actually, he met with this year’s S.C.A. officers to discuss plans and ideas for the groupand this year it so happened that all S.C.A. officers are females.
Three cheers for Gloria Steinheim! When you get five female minds together you can’t help but come up with a lot of good ideas, right? Let’s hope so, anyway. All kidding aside, many ideas were discussed; ways in which to improve this school year and it sounds as if this could be a really successful and productive year for our S.C.A. They will be meeting with Mr. Wingfield again next Tuesday to make more definite plans.
