ent Norton noted the school board hasn’t had many requests for school bus use in the past. At first he’d been worried about the implications of the new law which allows the buses to be used for purposes other than that of transporting students to and from school and on field trips. “But after a closer reading, I found out it’s more restrictive than I thought,” he said. Only the county governing body, or their agencies can use the buses and even then they have to pay for their use.
