A GRAND JURY in Rappahannock County Circuit Court which convened Monday morning for the March term handed down a total of 68 indictments on four people, one from Rappahannock and three from Page County.
They are William Michael Foster of Flint Hill, Isaac Eugene Goode and his wife, Hazel Frances Goode and Carrol William (Duke) Short, all of Stanley in Page County. Indictments included breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy, and stemmed from an investigation instituted by Trooper J. A. Watson last July.
Foster was indicted for breaking and entering Rappahannock County High School on June 1 and again July 5; breaking and entering the home of William Edward Williams at Chester Gap on July 1 and July 14; Norman Boyum on July 14; breaking and entering Bernard J. Viei&ing’s home at Flint Hill J[uly 21 and the same day breaking and entering the home of Alfred Fadley at Chester Gap. He was cited on 26 counts.
Foster had already been convicted to the theft of a garden tractor belonging to Mrs. Margaret Smith of Flint Hill. He was charged with this offense when Trooper Watson stopped him enroute to Page County with the tractor on July 27, last year. Also involved in this were two juveniles from Rappahannock who will be taken into Juvenile and Domestic
