Col. E. P. Luke, center, signed a proclaimation at last Thursday’s meeting of the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors establishing April as Cancer Crusade month and urging all residents to attend the skin cancer clinic in Washington on Saturday, March 20. Kermit Weakley, on behalf of the Rappahannock Unit American Cancer Society, presented the proclaimation while Mrs. Robert Moorefield, Mrs. Robert Rodgers and Mrs. W. J. Curtis look on.
