Mr. Jenkins, 69, died March 3, 1976 at Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg. He was a native of Rappahannock County, the son of the late James Acra and Martha Ann Petty Jenkins, a veteran of .World War II and retired employee of Rochester Corporation.
Survivors include two brothers, Clyde R. Jenkins of Brandy Station and J. Thurman Jenkins of Culpeper. □

Survivors include his widow, Laurelia C. Hitt; four daughters, Mrs. Gladys Anderson, Mrs. Hazel Butler and Mrs. Peggy Eline, all of Warrenton and Mrs. Helena Charles of Lignum; four sons, Richard T. Hitt, Amissville, Thomas R. Hitt of Midland, Howard L. Hitt, Marshall and Frank A. Hitt, Florida.
