Successful year
The Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Department and Rescue Squad report another successful year in the Thrift Shop which is operated at the fire house from spring through the fall season. Total funds taken in during 1976 are $2,046.61.
The articles for sale are all donated by county residents and friends and the ladies volunteer their services to manage and staff the shop. The shop has closed for the winter, but will reopen in April of next year.
“If you have items to contribute to the shop while it is not in operation, please call me, Ruth Clark, at 675-3608, and I will pick them up,” said Mrs. Clark. “We thank each of you for your contributions of saleable articles and your support of our project.” □
