TWO new geologic maps and an accompanying report on the geology of an area of 120 square miles including portions of southeastern Clarke, northwestern Fauquier, northeastern Rappahannock and northeastern Warren counties have been announced by Dr. James L. Calver, Commissioner of Mineral Resources and State Geologist. The area includes Belle Meade, Blue Mountain, Flint Hill, Howellsville, Hume, Linden, Shenandoah Farms and Sky land Estates.
