ALSO up for discussion with the state agency was a request from Davis for a full-time secretary. Dot Irvine currently holds a position as joint secretary to both Davis and Buntin. At a previous Supervisors’ meeting, in executive session, Davis asked the Board for authorization to have Irvine work for him alone. The Supervisors at that time informed Davis they were opposed to such an arrangement and wrote to the Compensation Board registering this opposition.
