The Rev. Ray Crockett, pastor of Amissville United Methodist Church on Route 211 has announced the schedule of services.
First, third and fifth Sundays the worship service is at 11 a.m. preceded by Sunday School at 10; second and fourth Sundays the worship service is at 10 a.m. with Sunday School at 11. Bible study is held every Sunday evening at 7:30. The public is invited to attend these services.
LENTEN SERVICES
Lenten services will be held each Wednesday evening through March in the Trinity Episcopal Church parish hall in Washington. The sessions begin with a covered dish 'supper at 6:30 p.m. followed by the program. These services are sponsored jointly by the Episcopal, Baptist and Methodist churches. □
