There is a new feeling for sports at R.C.H.S. Baseball and Track practice has started with the biggest turnout I have seen in years. About 90 students had shown up for the practice sessions Monday and Tuesday. Boys track had the smallest showing with 13 staying Monday.
Title IX has taken its test at R.C.H.S. For the first time, girJs have gone out for baseball. Whether they make the team depends on their desire and talent they put forth. Good luck girls!
National Honor Society and Student Cooperative Association officers and members are performing new duties at the school. To raise money to pay for stage lights, they are washing dishes for the school. Even my hands are showing the effects of this worthy cause.
By joint cooperation between the N.H.S. and the S.C.A., a school newspaper will be published in the month of March. Student support will be the only way the paper will survive.
The shop has dog houses for sale for twenty and thirty dollars. Contact the high school for additional information.
The basketball teams finished the season by losing to the Luray Bulldogs last Tuesday. The J.V.
