Swindler invited to
Governor's school
Rappahannock Public School Officials have received information from the State Department of Education that James Edward Swindler II, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Edward Swindler of Sperryville, has been invited to attend the 1977 Governor’s School For the Gifted.
The Governor’s School was established in 1973 to provide academic and artistic experiences, not generally offered in high schools, for approximately 400 rising juniors and seniors in the public and private high schools of Virginia. The school is in session four weeks at a Virginia College.
Swindler is a junior at the Rappahannock High School and will attend the sessions of the school to be held at Randolph-Macon College in Lynchburg from June 15 to July 12, 1977. □
