THE Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection, Inc. will meet at the Court House in Washington on Friday evening, March 4 at 8 p.m. John Perry, executive secretary of the American Committee for International Conservation, will discuss energy from the conservation-community viewpoint, in a talk entitled “Living with Less.”
Perry, who was formerly associated with the National Zoological Park, has written a series on “Exploring the Forest,” “Exploring the Seashore” and “Exploring the River.”
The program will include a slide and tape presentation which has i, been developed by the Piedmont Environmental Council entitled “Farming, A Piedmont Perspective.” This will be shown and discussed by Jim Marshall, vice president of the RLEP, who is employed by the PEC as a landscape architect and farm program director.
