The agricultural agents in this five county area all agree that we did not find any significant fall armyworm damage in corn planted before May 15. Robert Leake, who planted 1600 acres of corn, starting early in the season and finishing up late, also agrees with this statement.

Community Lenton services will be held at the parish hall of Trinity Episcopal Church at Washington each Wednesday evening, Feb. 15 through March 15. A covered dish supper at 6:30 p.m. will precede each meeting. Special programs will be sponsored by the various churches.
