grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Weible of Arlington, Miss Carrie Hitt and Miss Minnie Hitt, both of Amissville.
Mr. Hitt was a lifelong member of the Amissville United Methodist Church; a member of the Amissville Ruritan Gub and a former member of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department.
The following grandsons will be casket bearers: Robert Hitt, Nelson Burke, Roy Burke, Danny Payne, Frank Fishback, Neil Payne, Tommy Campbell and John Weible. The members of the Amissville Ruritan Club and other friends in the community will be Honorary pallbearers.
