Services for Virgil Emmett Wilson of Flint Hill were held Monday at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church with the Rev. Vickie Pittard officiating. Interment was in the Flint Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson, 77, died Friday, February 3, 1978, in Warren Memorial Hospital. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Wilson, he was born in Page County on April 17, 1900. He was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Rosie Pearl Wilson; one daughter, Mabel Lillard of Flint Hill; eight grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. A son predeceased him.
Pallbearers were Haywood Pullen, Ashby Grimsley, Moffett Pullen, M. H. Brady Jr.. Horace Pullen Jr., and George Grimsley.
