A program, headed by Mrs. Lorraine Early, is in progress to secure funds for the continuation of Little League Baseball in Amissville.
“Equipment for the players and upkeep for the grounds and diamonds is so high that it takes a lot of, money to keep things going," said Mrs. Early, who for a number of years has been instrumental in keeping the organization together.
Several prizes, most donated, are being given away in an effort to finance the ball teams.
