Freak Peach Paacakm Use any good pancake recipe, substituting ‘/a cup wheat germ for 'A cup of Flour. Add one cup of peaches, peeled and cut up rtiy small and proceed as usual. When pancakes are finished, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve. From Mary Miller Wood of Washington comes this recipe for Peach Pie: Fresh Peach Glaze Pie 1 9-inch baked pastry shell 1 cup sugar 3 Tablespoons cornstarch */« teaspoon nutmeg 1 cup crushed fresh peaches '/«cup water 1 Tablespoon lemon juice 3 cups sliced fresh peaches Combine sugar, cornstarch snd nutmeg in a saucepan. Add crushed peaches and water. Cook, stirring constantly, until thick and clear. Remove from heat. Blend in lemon juice. Cover. Cool to lukewarm. Combine sliced peaches and thickened mixture. Pour into baked pastry shell. Chill. Serve with shipped cream if desired. ***
