Rappahannock New reported that the public schools in Warren and Rappahannock Counties would open Monday, August 31. At the July meeting of the Rappahannock School Board, Robert G. Witten was appointed teacher-assistant principal of the Elementary School. Teachers at the high school were to be: Mr. Dennis B.
