"From the standpoint of space use, sure three feedings may be necessary. If your cafeteria seats 125 and you have 375 kids, you have to feed in three shifts, unless you find it so disruptive you’re willing to expand the cafeteria.”
Faulkner said three private schools in the Washington, D. C., area had changed their space to be able to have only one lunch period and found that “fewer kids were tired and disruptive.” (Note: the cafeteria at RCHS seats 7090 depending on whom you talk to and the school has about 425 students. Five lunch groups would be needed to seat everyone unless classrooms are used.)
Reeve asked about architects’ fees. Faulkner said the normal architectural contract is very specific.
