George Williams
George Herbert Williams, 71, died Dec. 17 at his home at Chester Gap.
Mr. Williams was bom March 13, 1916, at Chester Gap, a son of the late Herbert and Laura Henry Williams.
Surviving are his wife Bernice Virginia Williams, four sons, George S. Williams of Front Royal, Tommy Williams, Charles Williams and Donadd Williams, all of Chester Gap, two daughters, Loretta Brady of Flint Hill and Kathy Longmire of Chester Gap, a brother J. D. Williams of Front Royal, three sisters, Eva Vohlander of Laurel, Md., Anna Marie Mahoney and Emma Lockhart of Front Royal, 14 grandchildren .and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Dec. 20 at the Tumer-Robertshaw Funeral Home, Front Royal, by the Rev. James Burke. Burial was in the Williams family cemetery at Chester Gap.
Pallbearers were Jimmy WilUams, Timmy Williams, Elmer Hickfii-son, Danny Hickerson, Albert Cameron and Albert Wines.
Honorary pallbearers were Lawrence Williams, Haywood Williams, Bradley Williams, Stanley Williams, Billy Wines and Wally Wines.
