“All precautions,” Mr. Joyce repeated, “will be taken to assure that any disturbance on the site will be protected from leaving the site.”

Mr. Chase asked how the leachate collected from the fill area will be disposed of once it is gathered in the design’s proposed subsurface tank.

Mr. Joyce described the system as similar to a septic tank, and said the probable eventual disposal will be at a municipal wastewater treatment plant.
