Rappahannock News Staff Writer _ Ron Frazier, Rappahannock County Supervisor for the Jackson District, is promoting the idea of private school tuition and home schooling tax credit to be deducted from .county personal property and real estate tax.
Michelle Easton, President of the Virginia State Board of Education, would like Rappahannock County to be a test case for this plan, Frazier said. The supervisors’ support for this legislation being introduced to the Virginia General Assembly in February is critical for the county being selected, he added.
At the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors meeting on Jan. 5 at 2 p.m. the supervisors will discuss the issue.
