Like man, birds are warmblooded and able to maintain the body and brain at a nearly constant temperature. Birds are extremely sensitive to fluctuations in the temperatures of their environments. Through a variety of means physical and behavioral they adjust their temperatures to changes in their environment. Birds are remarkably adaptable and are found all over this planed except at the North and South Pole and they get mighty close to those.
