John Thomas Weakley, 79, of Fredericksburg died Wednesday, Dec. 24 at Carriage Hill Nursing Home.
Mr. Weakley was bom in Rappahannock County on Sept. 26, 1918, a son of the* late John Floyd Weakley and Frances Dodson Weakley.
He was a retired carpenter.
He was a member of the Church of God.
He is survived by three sisters Lizzy Compton and Roberta Smith, both of Castleton and Mary Mitchell of Charlottesville; a brother William R. Weakley of Culpeper and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were conducted on Tuesday, Dec. 30 at Fairview Cemetery by Pastor L.D. Savage.
Clore-Geest Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
