Rappahannock parents of children who attend private school or home school would be able to see some relief from the double financial burden of paying personal property tax and real estate tax which mainly supports the public schools as well as paying private school tuitions or expenses^for home schooling. Presently approximately 20 percent of the county school age children do not attend school at the Rappahannock County Schools.
