Mot tier s Coop, play group to meet

The Mother’s Coop and Children’s Play group will meet in the Parrish Hall at Trinity Episcopal Church on Thursday mornings from 10 a.m. to 12 noon through the winter season. All are welcome. For more information call Brenda VanNess at 987-9527.

Story hour underway

The Rappahannock County Library’s Story Hour for pre-school children, ages 2-6 is currently underway and will continue every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. through the remainder of the year.

The program of songs, finger-plays and a story will last about 30 minutes. Children will need to be accompanied by an adult, but no pre-registration is necessary.

Aerobic classes slated

Aerobic classes are being held at the Community Center in Washington Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Classes include an aerobic workout, floor work and yoga stretching. For information call Beth Levick, 675-3108.

Spring auction planned

Play group underway

Country Kids Play group is underway at the Jeffersonton Community Center. New families are welcome to join. The play group is a non profit group for parents or care givers and children ages infant to five. It meets every Monday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon. Free tutoring for adults

The Literacy Volunteers of Rappahannock County are continuing to provide free tutoring for adults, in improving reading and math skills and preparing for the GED exam. Weekly sessions are on Monday and Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Rappahannock Library. For information call 675-3419, 675-2549 or 937-4279.
