\Vednesday visitors of Mrs. Addie Keyser and Mrs. Virginia Cloud were Mrs. Ann Martin of Culpeper and Mrs. Mildred Atkins of Amissville. On Thursday Mrs. Ruby Dwyer of Sperryville visited.

Christmas Eve Candlelight services will be held at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24 at the Washington Baptist Church.

The annual Living Nativity will take place Saturday, Dec. 22 from 6-9 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library. This, event is sponsored by the Methodist Churches of Rappahannock.

Mrs. Marilyn Bailey attended a holiday open house party at the home of her grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Steven J. Bailey in Strasburg on Saturday.

Mrs. Marilyn Bailey was among those attending a 50th wedding anniversary party in honor of William and Mary W. Groves at the Lions Club Community Hall in Remington on Sunday evening.

Happy birthday to Tanya Lockhart who will celebrate her day on Dec. 23.

The annual childrens’ Christmas play at the Washington Baptist Church will be held Sunday, Dec. 23 at 10 a.m.

The Woodville Baptist Church Christmas play will be Sunday, Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. The public is invited.

Happy birthday to Mrs. Sally Fetter, who will have her day on Sunday, Dec. 23.

Saturday Mrs. Brenda McDonald of Haymarket, Gerald Clark of Warrenton and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Clark in Manassas.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Foster of Chesterfield, Mich, were Sunday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark.

Last year on Dec. 19 we had four inches of snow on the ground and this year the flowers are blooming and grass is growing.
